DIANET International School on the sustainable Future of the Danube Region, Call for participants

From March 22nd to 31st, 2014 the University of Trieste will organise the second DIAnet International School” dedicated to the subject „The role of natural heritage for the sustainable future of the Danube Region“.

This International School is part of the project “DIAnet - Danube Initiative and Alps-Adriatic Network”, co-financed by the European Social Fund 2007/2013, Bank Foundation of Gorizia, and the University of Trieste.

DIAnet cooperates with the DANUBE:FUTURE project, a joint initiative of the Alps-Adriatic Rectors’ Conference and the Danube Rectors’ Conference, which has received the flagship project status of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, priority area 7 - Knowledge Society.

The call is open until December 6th, 2013 for PhD Students and Post-doc Research Fellows (max 40 years old) of universities which are members of the Alps-Adriatic Rectors’ Conference or the Danube Rectors’ Conference. In particular students and fellows with experience and interest in interdisciplinary studies in the context of sustainable development are invited to participate.

Each candidate has to send the completed Application Form, and a Europass CV, to his/her Institution by the deadline set by the same Institution. The Institution will select and rank its candidates and forward the final list to the Organizing Committee by December 6th 2013.
